Observing Singaporean Artists through Generations

Making a comeback due to an overwhelming popular demand, Art Commune Gallery in Singapore is exhibiting their “Early Singapore Art: 1st & 2nd Generation Singapore Artists Exhibition’ for the second time, from 19th December 2011- January 20th 2012. Their previous successful exhibition was held in July 2011.

The grand exhibition captures Singaporean art and history into the hearts and minds of viewers, with additional fascinating artworks featured in this art exhibition. Breeze through a total of over 30 masterpieces from more than 20 artists which are under the limelight in the perfect setting. The date ranges from the early 1930s to the present day, as Western painting, Chinese ink and calligraphy works are displayed for the audience to travel along with the fine and marvellous transformation of Singapore’s art arena.
