Hoo Chee Few – Tropical Rain

There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place where colors are brighter, the air softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again…
Wander into the life of Hoo Chee Few and experience his childhood all over again as he portrays the journey as the most beautiful of all life’s seasons. His upcoming exhibition entitled ‘Tropical Rain’ is embossed with inspirations of nature in his tiny hometown in Pahang.
Hoo states, "I was very affected by the sight of raining days before and after in my hometown.  I could feel the power of tropical storm, its impacts, how people struggle to survive during these days and how they just got on with it.  I wanted to express in my paintings these emotions”.
I honestly share the similar sentimental values as him… I sincerely feel that we could never have loved the earth so well if we had no childhood in it. Do you have the mushy gushy feelings for your hometown too?
Coming back to the exhibition, audiences would be totally swept away by Hoo’s manifestation of emotions to depict the rain at the forest, old towns and tropical greeneries with layers upon layers of amber green, cold blue and warm brown.

The sense of belonging is apparent in Hew’s artworks, of being a true Malaysian. His surge for hope and contentment through his masterpieces tell a tale of his perspective of thoughts, which is undeniably astonishing for his idealistic notion to illustrate the unseen beauty of a tiny town.

Be prepared for the mind-beguiling exhibition this 31st of March! I’m up for the mighty discovery, anyone is joining me?
