Kuala Lumpur: Best of Malaysian Art

Some 30 works of Malaysian modern and contemporary art will go under the hammer in an exclusive auction at a leading hotel in Kuala Lumpur on June 29 at 1pm. Previews will be held in Singapore on June 15 & 16 and in KL from June 21-27.

The sale will feature artwork from Malaysia’s top artists such as Abdul Latiff Mohidin, the late Datuk Ibrahim Hussein, Jolly Koh, Yusof Ghani, Chang Fee Ming, Ahmad Zakii Anwar, Jalaini Abdul Hassan, Ahmad Shukri, Datuk Sharifah Fatimah Zubir, Chong Siew Ying, Kow Leong Kiang and New York-based sculptor Eng Tay.

The sale will also include Penang’s distinguished artists such as Datuk Tay Mo Leong, Yeong Seak Ling, Khoo Sui Hoe, Cheah Ewe Hoon as well as the late Datuk Hoessein Enas, Datuk Chuah Thean Teng, Tan Choon Ghee and pioneer artist Lee Cheng Yong.
