Malaysia-China Friendship Arts Exchange Exhibition
By Liew Kian Yap

I was invited by Soka Gakkai Malaysia to witness an art exhibition organised exclusively to the finest works by 24 renowned artists of modern and contemporary art from Malaysia and Qingdao Province of China. In fact, Tew Nai Tong (artist) is the curator for this group art exhibition.

The exhibition begins with a cultural performance that expresses the Chinese culture that has cross-over to Malaysia from the mainland. This exhibition also demonstrate multiple facets of Qingdao’s art and sceneries, whereas Malaysian artists showcase our nation’s multi-cultural diversity and tropical greenery.
Nevertheless, the artistic fascination goes on and on as each viewer falls head over heels towards the masterpieces depicting the attraction of both respective motherlands.
