Amirudin Ariffin

Born with a love for art and requisite talent, Amirudin Ariffin, has honed his craft over 30 years to become a versatile artist in a range of medium such as oil, pastel, acrylic and ink, and subject matter from portraiture, figures, landscape to illustration. He studied Graphic Art & Design at ICS Singapore and has worked in a publication company and later at a printing and advertising firm.
Amirudin has consistently exhibited his artwork locally and abroad and also received prizes for his work. His paintings have appeared in exhibitions in China, Macedonia, South Korea, Japan and Mauritius. His work is displayed as part of the permanent collection by the National Art Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Individual collectors, corporations and foundations have commissioned his work.
 A major accomplishment is the commission by the Inner Temple Alumni Association for a portrait of the first Prime Minister of Malaysia in memory of the Tunku for permanent display at the Inner Temple in London.
Apart from accepting commission from public and private institutions, Amirudin also conducts painting classes for expatriates and diplomats in Malaysia as well as local enthusiasts.
