Tang Yeok Khang

Diploma in Interior Design Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA)

Tang Yeok Khang is a visual artist who specializes in painting with
an experienced design industry background. In earlier days, he
was awarded The Best Student Award of Interior Design Department
by Malaysian Institute of Art. His involvement in design is wide, from
interior to exterior and also from 2 Dimensional to 3 Dimensional.
Tang is not satisfied with his part time involvement in visual art. He
decided to turn full time since 2009 and began to exhibit, travel and paint
mainly in Asia and Europe regions. His art works were collected by a
few respected institutions, namely Malaysia National Portrait Gallery,
Galeri Petronas, Penang State Art Gallery, Malayan Banking Berhad
and United Overseas Bank. Besides, he is exploring new possibilities to
use art to promote public interest and welfare in local communities,
for instance through Sasaran International Arts Festival, 101 lost
Kittens street art project and some special event in local and overseas
