Rajesh Kumar Yadav

My life is woven with a depth of emotion in earthy hues that fires my passion and my art. Drawn to nature, native peoples, culture of India my work springs from my attachment to land of India and inspirations or old civilization artists my paintings capture the strength and simplistic elegance of Indian lifestyles and of the rugged beauty of ancient art and its imperialism.

My commitments here involve teaching painting, Mural designing, and spreading the fragrance of Indian tradition and its fame through my paintings and artwork all over the world. As an artist, teacher, fine art conservationist, and weaver I love contributing my skills in working for Shilpgram (a village for conservation of Indian traditional lifestyle and Rajasthani imperialism) and my collection all across the globe which is spreading the Indian cultural fame through its unique theme and approach in a modern style. Now, I direct The ART PIVOT Studio in Lake City, Udaipur Where I paint, teach, and manage my expanding professional career.

The Source of My Art

Today, my work comes from my deep connection with the art of India. The emotions and experiences of being among the people in India blend my work with Indian contemporary impressionism and forms itself like tapestry, rich in color and tactile sensation. I want to convey the depth and beauty of Indian culture within the primitive and stark Indian lifestyle. India and Indians way of life invigorates my spirit and infuses my art.
There were vibrant and heroic peoples took birth here in India, whose heritage and gracious way of life is now in peril.

For most people around the Globe, India still is a mystical land of elephants, cows and snake charmers who somehow co-exist with the high tech world of computer geeks and call centers. In the art world however, contemporary Indian art is making big waves at almost all the international auctions. It all started from 1990s, when Indian artists began to increase the forms they used in their work.

At the start of his career Rajesh found out that traditional arts of India are so diverse that even most Indians are not aware of the many myriad hues and forms that traditional India has to offer.
